The 14×9” Goldhawk coil has the best coverage and depth capabilities on the medium to larger targets.
At only 9” wide, the coil also has good manoeuvrability and pin pointing ability which will help speed up nugget recovery.
WHICH COILTEK GOLDHAWK COIL IS BEST FOR SENSITIVITY?
The 10×5″ Goldhawk coil will be the best coil for sensitivity. The small elliptical detection field which is produced by the detector is more concentrated therefore improves sensitivity to the smaller targets. It is a very manoeuvrable coil with excellent pinpointing ability!
FOR GOLD PATCH FINDING OR OPEN TERRAIN, WHICH COILTEK GOLDHAWK COIL IS BEST?
In large open areas, where the gold is sparser and the vegetation less dense, the larger 14×9″ Goldhawk provides greater ground cover which is optimal in these broad areas.
The swing pattern is easily optimised with slight over laps and can cover the ground quicker than the smaller coils.
This coil has good sensitivity for smaller targets and good depth capability for larger targets so it wont miss much when in use. All of these could lead to several found nuggets in an area or in other words, a gold patch!
