The Detect-Ed carbon shaft minimizes weight, eliminates the flex found on the stock DEUS 2 metal detector shaft as well as offering other significant improvements.  The beautiful 3k carbon fibre construction and ultra minimalist coil connector are 30% lighter than the stock Deus II metal detector plastic shaft and totally eliminate any flex found in the stock plastic shaft. 

Shaving weight off of the lightest metal detector in the world was no easy task, but the benefits are noticeable and worth the effort because of where the weight was removed from (the end of the detector!). This makes the Deus 2 metal detector extremely crisp to swing with this zero flex shaft.

The DETECT-ED Carbon Lower is fully compatible with the XP DEUS 1 & XP DEUS 2 stock shaft and is a direct replacement for the plastic lower shaft found on your DEUS metal detector.
