DIVE DEEP WITH NOMAD MINI
The Nomad Mini is a battery-powered tankless diving system that floats on the surface like a buoy and delivers you compressed air through a hose as you breathe underwater, to a depth of 4.6 metres.
Battery run time is typically at least 35-40 minutes per battery. Spare batteries either can be swapped in seconds for extra dive time or a second battery added onto the Nomad Mini with the use of the optional DiveBoost Kit (sold seperately).

CARRY AND CHARGE ANYWHERE
Compared to traditional scuba set ups, the Nomad Mini Tankless Dive System provides an incredibly powerful, portable package that is easy to store and travel with inside the included backpack.
This makes getting to those secluded coves or remote swimming holes significantly easier, and recharging is as simple as plugging into any standard 240v outlet.
BEST FOR EXPERIENCED DIVERS
Whether you're diving Nomad Mini or Nomad, make sure you take the BLU3 Online Dive Training Course before diving. With a maximum depth of 4.6 metres underwater, Nomad Mini is best suited for experienced divers.
We strongly recommend diving with a backup air supply such as Spare Air (pictured, sold separately) and getting SCUBA certified to further your diving skills.
THE SMART REG™
What allows the Nomad Mini to be so compact, energy-efficient, and responsive is the patented Smart Reg™ – the first of its kind!
Here’s how it works: A silicone diaphragm inside the Smart Reg™ moves when the diver breathes.
A waterproofed sensor measures the diaphragm movement – it then sends an electronic signal which triggers the compressor to pump air at exactly the time and speed that the diver is inhaling.
DRY FLOAT BAG
The Dry Bag Float provides buoyancy, visibility, and waterproof storage for dry items. It has two air reservoirs that can be inflated by mouth with ease to provide 44 lb of buoyancy.
It’s bright colour will help notify surrounding boaters of your location. Store dry items inside the waterproof compartment while you enjoy your dive with the Nomad Mini.
THE BLU3 BACKPACK
Take your Nomad Mini with you to any dive spots here in Australia, or around the world with the BLU3 Backpack, designed specifically to make carrying the Nomad Mini and the rest of your gear as easy as possible.
This BLU3 Backpack holds everything required for using your Nomad Mini, and can also accommodate your fins externally (fins for illustrations purposes only).
THE BATTERY PACK
The Nomad Mini is powered by a newly enhanced 86Wh lithium-ion battery pack that is swappable and rechargeable. The pack and connector are IP67-rated to handle saltwater environments.
At 86Wh, it's allowed in carry-on luggage on most airlines! A charge-level indicator is located right on the battery itself so that you can always check your battery level. Be sure to grab a few extra packs so that you can dive all day long!
THE COMPRESSOR
With deeper depths, higher pressure and flow rates are required for diving. This custom design by BLU3 is made to fit this application. For example; even if you were to accidentally get saltwater inside your pump, no damage will be done! Just rinse freshwater through.
The flotation shell is rotomolded from hard, durable plastic and filled with foam so that it’s unsinkable. Although, you should use the Dry Bag Float whenever you dive for additional buoyancy, stability, and visibility.
THE AIR HOSE
Nomad Mini’s 4.6 metre air hose is the perfect balance of weight, flexibility, and durability. The coils prevent the hose from kinking and make it super easy to handle. Bungee the hose up for easy storage. (The air hose is longer than max depth to allow for more scope, making the Nomad Mini easier to tow while diving at max depth).
The buoyancy of the hose allows excess to float on the surface so that it stays clear of you, the marine environment, and other divers underwater.

NOMAD MINI DIVEBOOST KIT
The DiveBoost™ Kit allows the simultaneous use of multiple lithium-ion batteries. The abillity to stack batteries significantly extends your dive time. You can stack up to two DiveBoost kits maximising your underwater exploration time.
*Please note that while it extends dive time, it doesn't increase the depth rating of your Nomad Mini.
The newer Nomad Mini batteries are designed to power the Nomad Mini using just one battery, with a 20% increased capacity at 86Wh.
If you are utilizing the older 72Wh batteries (from the Nemo), you will need to use the DiveBoost Kit in conjunction with two batteries.

All users must be able to:
- Swim 200 yards/180m meters without stopping, without a time limit
- Tread water for 10 minutes continuously
Age Limits: - Users must be 8 years of age or older to Nomad dive, but are restricted to diving in a swimming pool only, in water shallow enough so that they can stand with their head above the surface of the water.
- Users must be 10 years of age or older to dive outside of the pool. Users under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian supervision at all times.
WARNING: Nomad uses strong magnets. Magnets may interfere with pacemakers or medical implants. It is advised that persons with pacemakers or medical implants do not use Nomad. Persons with pacemakers or medical implants must stay back at least 2 feet from the Nomad main body at all times.
HOW CAN I LEARN TO USE NOMAD MINI?
BLU3 offer an included Online Dive Training Course for you to complete before you start diving. We also strongly recommend all Nomad users to read and fully understand the Owner's - Users Manual. After learning about diving with Nomad in the course, users find the Nomad easy to operate safely for future adventures!
DOES NOMAD MINI LAST LONGER IN SHALLOW WATER?
Yes!
If you're using Nomad in shallow waters, you can expect longer run times. And you will be able to coil up the excess hose length neatly so that Nomad stays close by.
WHAT IS THE DIVEBOOST KIT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

CAN I TAKE A NOMAD MINI ON A PLANE?
Absolutely! The lithium battery used is under the limit and accepted by most airlines in carry-on luggage so that you can travel around the world with Nomad. The Nomad inside its backpack will fit as carry-on luggage, or you can put the unit through checked baggage while bringing the battery as carry-on. Be prepared by bringing your Air Travel Certificate along in case it's requested.
